  • Analyse the current network and IT infrastructures to understand problems related to the existing network and resolve the issues.

  • Redesign the network and implement the proposed network

  • Design a secure network that can facilitate users with high performance, availability and scalable to support growing future demands.

  • Implement the system/ network components.

  • Installing various network components.

  • Secure the overall network.

  • Implement the security mechanism.

  • Create security policy.

  • Provide disaster recovery and business continuity plan.

Limitations in Existing Network

  • IPX/SPX protocol. Incompatible protocol with other protocols such as TCP/IP.

  • Uses of different connectivity medium and complexity in connection.

  • Implementation of T3 leased line and T1 leased line which provides relatively low speed.

  • Use of frame relay which doesn’t provide communication security.

  • The existing network doesn’t provide communication security and can be compromised easily.

  • CC doesn’t have proper security policies.

  • Lack of effective security plans.

  • Lack of disaster recovery plan, business continuity plan, and risk assessment.
